The clay body was founded by Laura Delwel in Rotterdam, where she lives and works. Her ceramic pieces are made in her studio in Kralingen, Rotterdam. The studio functions both as an atelier and showroom.

Working with clay is a way for her to slow down and connect with natural materials. Her approach is intuitive, resulting in naturally formed ceramics. She is largely inspired by organic forms reflecting femininity and fluidity.

Her ceramic pieces are made through different handbuilding techniques, mostly coiling. Irregular textures and marks are part of Laura’s unique work. Each piece of ceramics is one-of-a-kind.
